Behind the glass so the actual mirror paint on the back. You can see it when the lights are on mainly. But other than that they are lovely mirrors. Less

The Calais arrived very securely packaged. Not yet installed but looks really solid and well-made with excellent fittings. The Calais is one of a range of similar bathroom cabinets all based on the same theme, each with different lighting arrangements and optional extras including demist capability. Illuminated Mirrors is the only company I could find offering such good quality cabinets in a smaller (400mm wide) size. Although the lighting arrangement is as expected, it would have been nice if the cabinet was clearly identified as a Calais with perhaps a label confirming the demist function - until it is installed there is no way of testing for this. I have deducted one star, because in the absence of any other colour statement, I had assumed it would be white, whereas in fact it is grey. Although this is slightly annoying as white would have been a more logical colour, it does not detract from the overall excellent quality of this cabinet, which I would thoroughly recommend. Less
